While compiling my list, I found 120 stories that I thought were worth sharing, in the end. After stripping out anything with underage content, I was left with 105. In no particular order, here are the 5 that just missed out on being in the top hundred:
Confessions of a Teenage Pussy Eater, by Stormbringer
There’s a lot of Stormbringer on this list.
Partially because he’s just a damn good writer. A little hokey at times, and his kinks don’t exactly line up with mine (his stories often contain an element of cruelty that I’m not so into), but it’s impossible to deny that SB writes some damn good smut.
He also features a lot simply because…he’s prolific. He writes as fast as I do (if not faster), and has been doing this since the turn of the century. That’s more than twenty years of putting out smut, sometimes dozens of stories in a single year.
But the main reason that you’ll be reading his name so much is that he was my very first favorite erotica author. I discovered his stuff when I was too young to appear in my own writing, and over the next decade or so, read through everything he’d put online.
I’ve fallen off a bit in the last ten years (his main kink is interracial stuff, which…it doesn’t put me off, but I need to like the story outside of that for it to work for me) but his back-catalogue is so extensive and so good, it’s no wonder so much of his stuff stuck in my memory.
Side-note: Trying to track down erotica from the last twenty years of the internet was a lot of work. Sites have gone down, authors have pulled their pieces…and worst of all, I have an atrocious memory. So not only did I have to hunt for stories based on vague memories of the sex scenes (instead of, y’know, titles or character names), I don’t remember every story I’ve read, no matter how much I loved it at the time. One story ended up getting cut cos I just couldn’t find it anywhere, and there are probably dozens more that I would’ve ranked if I’d thought of them.
Onto the story! This one is a classic. Fun, sexy, a little bit silly. And notable for being one of the only (if not THE only) Stormbringer story that isn’t all about enormous dicks.
Best scene: The part where he throws on Lord of the Rings and the “cool girl” gets intrigued by it. I can never work out if I find it stupid or not, but it’s always stuck with me.

Diabolical Dr. Diggler, by Fugue
Tags: mf, cheating
I was so, so here for this story. The premise, the tags, the quality of writing. It was like it was written to combine a bunch of my kinks into one glorious tale.
But then it just…stopped.
There’s a Choose Your Own Adventure version you can download, but I’ve never played it. I’m mentioning the story in case that format is your jam; the story seems really great, and very much in-line with my tastes (so I’m assuming it might hit yours as well). Based on the structure and the tags, I’m assuming it has a “good” ending where you defeat the professor and save your mother and girlfriend.
I just wish he’d continued adapting it for the EMCSA.
Best scene: The main character walking in to discover his most-hated professor fucking his girlfriend.
If you liked this, check out: My tale My Son’s Bully.
The Bigger, The Better by Stormbringer
Tags: mf, cheating, cuckoldry, big dick obsession
This is a much more typical Stormbringer tale: big cocks, cuckoldry, cheating, busty women being tempted away from nerdy men…
But it sticks in my mind not because of the content (I only remember a single sex scene from the whole thing) but for the structure:
Sometimes stories have multiple endings. Not often, but it was something early erotica writers used to experiment with. My upcoming “Mad Monday AU” series (hot scenes that didn’t actually happen in the Mad Monday continuity, but that I want to write + you want to read) is sort of similar, but multiple endings was more about pleasing both types of fans – those who want a happy ending, and those who don’t.
(For the record, I always want a happy ending. I’m a sucker that way.)
This one not only has multiple endings, but they occur back-to-back. If you want a standard Stormbringer “man gets cucked, loses wife” story, there’s a point where you can stop reading.
But if you continue…
Best scene: …then the main character turns things around, gets a big ol’ dick, and throws out the man who was in the middle of fucking his wife, and wins her back. The epilogue shows him as the one sleeping with future wives. It’s hot as hell.
There’s also a great scene earlier where (as I mentioned, Stormbringer has a tendency towards the cruel) the main character’s wife is making his favourite meal…for the neighbor. I’ve no idea why that stuck with me for so long, but it absolutely works for me.
If you liked this, check out: Most other Stormbringer tales, particularly Lessons from the Neighbor.
Comfortable, by MissingGreen
Tags: mc, ff
Not much to say about this one. It’s a fun short. A woman starts listening to her (female) housemate’s ASMR tapes, and remembers that she wants to be comfortable in her own house…by being naked.
Things escalates from there.
Best scene: “Nothing is wrong, Kate. It’s just that I’ve been doing this for you. Don’t you think you should do something for me?”
If you liked this, check out: From my catalogue: Female Housemate Wanted or Massaged by my Nerdy Brother. And while I haven’t read it yet, I suspect Fair Share by Greyscribbler would probably scratch a similar itch.
Glory, Glory Hole Ala Lula by Stormbringer
Tags: mfm, cheating, interracial
The third Stormbringer tale in the runners-up list! This is another one I read many, many years ago, and it features exactly what I always want in erotica: a woman, overcome by arousal, making Bad Decisions because she just can’t resist.
In this case, it’s a happily married woman who gets obsessed with glory holes. This story may have actually been how I learned what a glory hole was, now that I think about it.
Storm is a great writer, this is a great piece…if you’re into cheating/cuckoldry/slut wife stories, this should very much scratch your itch.
Best scene: The scene before she goes back to the adult book store, when she’s dreaming about the walls turning into Swiss cheese, and each hole being filled by a different kind of cock. Cock-obsession is going to be a recurring theme in this list, as you’ll quickly learn.
If you liked this, check out: Trying to write this has made me realize how unique the tale really is. I’m struggling to think of any other erotica that takes a happily-married woman to such a slutty place so quickly (and effectively). Just One of the Guys by Craptain_Planet is the closest tale I can think of off-hand, but if you know anything that would be a better match, let me know.
Okay, last thing before we start the list proper! These are stories I discovered while going through the various archives and wanted to talk about…though not add to the actual list. In no particular order
The Sweet Smell of Lust, by Caesar
Tags: mc, md, mf, ff, in – bro/sis, mom/son
This one is a classic. If you’re familiar with my stories, it’s easy to see the inspiration Caesar’s work has had on my writing: teenage boy invents [magical science thingy], uses it to seduce his mother and sister, story explores the limitations and ramifications of [thingy].
So why didn’t it make the top hundred? Well, for three reasons. Firstly, I haven’t read it in at least a decade, possibly more. Secondly, it’s so lonnnng…I didn’t particularly want to reread it to see where it would rank, because: thirdly, I remember it getting weaker as it went.
I still think it’s a classic, I still think it’s well-executed, and I remember it having a few scenes with some incredible heat. I am a dwarf standing on the shoulder of giants: my work (and a lot of my contemporaries) were able to crib the best parts of this amazing tale, and cut the chaff.
If you’re interested in writing erotica, I definitely think it’s worth reading. If you like the premise and are hungry for new (old) content, check it out. But as the harem expands and the author ran out of content, my memory of the story (which, again, is hazy at best) is that it just sort of went off the rails.
Best scene: The mother being notable within the harem as the only one who could transport the [magic science thingy] without losing control.
Reasonable Bounds, by Spacer X
Tags: mf, ff, harem, in – father/daughter
Spacer X is best-known for his incredibly long tale, Six Times A Day. I was genuinely shocked when it finished a few years ago (I had honestly assumed it would go on forever) – it ended at 3.25 million words.
For context, all my erotica COMBINED comes to just over 2 million words.
When I started reading Reasonable Bounds, I couldn’t believe how good it was. Where Six Times A Day goes to great lengths to explain how the main characters weren’t technically related (Alan and his sister were each separately adopted), Reasonable Bounds doesn’t bother with any of that: it’s the story of Dan Cooper, a happily married man with a teenage daughter…
…who desperately wants his cock.
Well, I was correct to doubt it. While the first few chapters are incredible, with the father setting (as the name would suggest) reasonable bounds of what his daughter is/isn’t allowed to do. They soon start slipping (handjobs turn to blowjobs so very quickly), and then…Dan gets distracted by a bevy of other women.
While I was writing the Limits series, I got one note that I’ve never forgotten. An Italian reader commented that there was a really dumb leap (which there was; I ended up pulling the chapter and rewriting it, and the story was much stronger for it) and that the tale was far too narrow in scope.
He wanted the main character to be seducing more than just the two women he lived with and their best friend. He wanted him to be out there hypnotizing teachers, classmates, cheerleaders, women from the gym, his old babysitter…he wanted the tale to be about a proper harem, not just one dude and three women.
But I just had no interest in writing that.
You’ll notice, going through my catalogue, my stories are almost always tightly focused on a small cast of characters. The few exceptions tend to be commissions, like Brandi, or We Need A Man. This isn’t unique to my erotica-writing; all my creative works (sitcoms, board games, podcasts) tend to be quite limited in scope. I just prefer it that way.
And so as Reasonable Bounds continued, and Dan kept on adding more and more and more women to his life, I started skipping paragraphs, then pages, then entire chapters, waiting for it to get back to what I considered the core of the story: him, his daughter, and his daughter’s hot friend.
I went through everything that had been written at the time, and it didn’t progress those characters any further. This tale didn’t make the list because it let itself get distracted from its own premise, and never delivered.
Best scene: The moment where the husband convinces himself that letting his daughter use her mouth is basically the same as letting her use her hands. (I was quite excited for the next steps along this train of thought).
I Feel Lucky, by cmsix
Tags: mc, mf, ff(?), interracial, trucks, cheating, in – mom/son, bro/sis
This story isn’t very good.
I’m warning you of that up-front, in case you have a decade to kill and decided to just read every story I linked to (some of these are lonnnng).
The story isn’t in here because of its high quality. It’s poorly written, the characters don’t make sense, the universe is nonsense, and boy oh boy is there a lot of focus on truck-driving.
But it’s here because
a) Like a lot of trash, it’s weirdly compelling, and
b) I’ve long been fascinated by it
This one is the story of a teenage boy who is told by his father “hey, you’re a man now, you should fuck your mother. And also your twin sisters. Have access to the entire family funds, while you’re at it.”
There’s no mind control involved, there’s no real justification for what he’s doing or why he does it. It’s a classic tale of wish fulfillment, and so the father takes the genie role, and gives his son everything he wants so that the story can begin.
StoriesOnline has a huge community who love these long, rambling, wish-fulfillment stories. Normally they’re in the “Do-Over” genre; middle-aged man is sent back into his teenager body, and gets to live life over, knowing everything that he knows now. They normally fuck their way through the entire cast of female characters (often including family members) and buy all the right stocks at the right time, so they can be fabulously wealthy.
My favourite thing about these (often terrible) stories is that they go into incredible detail about stuff that was relevant to the author’s childhood. Maybe it’s the exact grading system their school used, or the structure of regional volleyball champions…it’s a staple of the genre for there to be way too much detail about something that’s not particularly interesting.
In this one, it’s trucking.
Once the main character has fucked his mother and sisters and servants and father’s secretary, he decides that the next thing he needs to do is get into trucking. And so we get pages and pages and pages of detail about different kinds of trucks, and trucking routes, and procedures when you’re crossing state borders, and – in what has become a running joke between my brother and I – the specific placement of tow bars on his fully tricked-out trucks.
It will not surprise you to learn that the author of this story was a truck driver.
“Was” because he passed on a few years ago. I don’t know exactly what of, but if you click through to his blog…holy heck, it’s a gruesome and gory read. Not recommended for the faint of heart.
I kept reading this one because I’d heard that the story eventually contained mind control, and that concept was just so bananas considering everything that I’d read so far, I had to find out how it was worked into the story.
(“Poorly”, I’m sorry to say.)
(I was so obsesed with this story, I actually recorded an entire podcast episode about it.)
Worst scene: Probably the many where the main character meets a woman, buys her a car to impress her, but the author goes to great lengths to assure us that no, she really loves him for how kind and sweet and funny he is, and not just because he spent half a million dollars on her.
Worst sequence: The part where the author decides to write his other story into the same universe, then quickly works out what a bad and boring idea it is (since the main characters – and premise – are almost identical) and those characters quickly fade back into the background again.
If you liked this, check out: I haven’t read it, but A Fresh Start by rlfj seems to be the best-regarded Do-Over story. (I’ve never written one, and I’m unlikely to. Maybe when I’m in my sixties and looking back at my life with regret. You can expect it to go into way, way too much detail about smut-writing.)
Horny Little Valentine, by JR Parz
Tags: mc, mf, ff, twincest
Some of the stories in my top 100 are there for a particular chapter, with the beginning and/or ending being extremely skippable.
This one I’m recommending for a single scene.
If JR Parz is famous for anything in the erotica community, it’s for his invention of Master PC. It’s not as much of a thing any more, but back in the day it was practically a rite of passage to pen your own Master PC story, see what interesting things you could do with the format.
(I finally worked out my own angle a few months ago: Amateur PC – an old man downloads the software, but he barely knows how to use a computer, so he struggles to get anything done. Writing this one isn’t a high priority, but I’ll probably get to it someday.)
There are no Master PC stories on my list (William Pratt’s Rumor Mill would probably be my #1), but this story follows the basic structure of a lot of other tales which are: main character discovers [magical science thingy] which gives him control over women he has a crush on, but accidentally lets it loose to affect other people.
Two of the other people affected are Tommy and Tammy, twins. Twins are a huge turn-on for me, and “family members controlled by a third party to have sex” is another, so the 500 words dealing with Tommy and Tammy…man, if those were a standalone story, it would probably be in my top 20. As it is, it’s surrounded by a lot of adequately-written stuff I’m not particularly interested in, so it’s delegated to HM.
Best scene: The second (and final) scene with the twins. It’s only 260 words, and none of them are wasted. Incredible.
Breaking Innocent Jenny, by Sato
Tags: mc, mf, in – daddy/step-daughter
So Horny Little Valentine received a honorable mentions for a single scene. This story doesn’t even have that – Breaking Innocent Jenny gets one for a character introduction.
Chapter 1 (“Jenny”) introduces us to the titular character, and the combination of innocence and lust, the mixture of her perfect body and the complete lack of confidence…god, I don’t think I’ve ever read a better character introduction in a piece of erotica.
Everything about it just absolutely works for me. But when the plot beings…just as fast, it all falls apart.
I don’t even know if I’ve even finished this story, because absolutely nothing in chapter 2 appealed. The pacing, the prose – it goes from absolute perfection to nothing in sixty seconds flat.
Best scene: It’s a tie between Jenny swatting her boyfriends’ hands away, leaving him frustrated, when they both want the same thing…or the fact that she’s a secret exhibitionist, subconsciously dressing to impress and then rubbing her legs together because she likes how wet it makes her.
If you liked this, check out: I’ve tried to capture this character in my own writing a few times, most notably in a for-sale story I didn’t realize at the time that I’d borrowed her name for: Jenny’s Older Man. There’s also notable aspects of her in Her Darkest Fan.
College Undercover, by Greyscribbler
Tags: mc, mf, ff, prostitution
I honestly think we’re in a golden age of erotica. It can be frustrating that so many people pull their content and hide it behind paywalls (Amazon, Patreon, or both), but I get it. People gotta pay the bills!
(I also can’t get too mad, because I was one of the first authors to begin moving my work to Patreon. The difference: I also left it free for everyone to read!)
The first golden age was the late 90’s/early 00’s. Downing Street was posting regularly, alongside Daphne, The Sinner, Jafar, JR Parz…too many to list!
Don’t get me wrong – since then there have been plenty of quality authors posting, but the run of classics we got in that period was incredible.
Having said that, I think the current crop of writers could give them a run for their money. I think I’m writing my best work at the moment, and there are so many amazing writers among my contemporaries that I’m nervous to list them (for fear of missing someone out).
I will say that the three strongest right now are Limerick (who was my favorite erotica author after Stormbringer), Ice Bear, and Greyscribbler.
I’m yet to dive into his magnum opus, Fair Share, and I dropped out of The Apprenticeship when I stopped being able to track the characters in my head (my preference for small scope applies to what I read as well as write), but I’ve read everything else he’s written, and he’s a true master of the craft.
So why is this story in Honorable Mentions? Because while it’s brilliant, well-executed, and contains some of the hottest scenes in erotica…I don’t like it.
I want to like it. I like a lot of it. But when I recommended it to a girlfriend a few years ago, she bailed halfway through the first chapter.
“No no no,” I pleaded. “Once you get past the nasty beginning, it’s great.”
Welp, it turns out the forcible mind-control and bleak tone of the opening was a warning for how the story was going to end. For almost a decade of reading this tale, I held out hope that it was going to end with happiness and roses.
Instead, it concludes as darkly as it begins. That’s not the story’s fault – it was all there, I just chose not to see it.
If you’re into bleak erotica, this is one of the best tales you’ll ever read. If not, do yourself a favor and don’t get invested.
Best scene: Carol talking another young woman into being a whore, using the hypnotic commands that play constantly in her head to seduce another woman into the dark life she can’t extricate herself from. Truly, one of the all-time best scenes ever posted to the EMCSA.
If you liked this, check out: Amy, a Lawyer, also by Grey. Much shorter, much less dark, just as hot.
The Truth, by The_Fractal_King
Tags: mc, mf, ff, edging
Speaking of stories that are a little too bleak for my tastes…
It’s not that I don’t enjoy dark content. The fate of Marcie in Limits is pretty fucking bleak, after all. Despite my stated preference, a great many of the stories in my top 100 end with the “bad guys” winning, the characters having their will broken…the genre of mind control is, for the most part, inherently dark. Of the millions of words I’ve written, maybe one or two of them end with the victim escaping their programming and returning to their former lives.
But (again, with a small handful of exceptions) my stories are never violent, and they don’t result in people losing everything.
There’s a story by CactusJuggler, Nicknames, which is like, the exact opposite of what I like. It’s well-written and hot as hell, but is just 100% not for me. It tells the story of a woman who gets hypnotized (along with her best friend) by her sister. The pair become her sex slaves; they don’t enjoy it, they’re not into it. They’re just destined to be unwillingly used by her for the rest of their lives, with no chance of escape.
The sister knows there’s no way to escape, because her previous hypnotized sex slave managed to get out by killing herself.
As an artist, I totally get it. CactusJuggler has done an amazing job of crafting a tale that sticks with you; she’s doing what every writer strives for, sucking you in and masterfully using language to play with your emotions. It’s a smart, hot, well-written story.
It’s just not for me. And I think part of it is just that it’s unfair. The hypnotist essentially has unlimited power; once she puts them under, they have no chance of escape. There’s nothing they can do. She snaps her fingers, and bam: permanent sex slaves, living a life of mystery, due to nothing they did.
Most of my stories are about the game, the push and pull, the puzzle. Characters flaws are used against them, their minds are dived into, their weaknesses exploited. Like in the Saw series – there’s always a way they could have avoided this. They obviously don’t deserve what happened to them, but there was another way it could have gone.
In Nicknames, College Undercover, and The Truth, there’s nothing our protagonists could have done to save themselves. From the moment the story began, they were fucked – the enemies were undefeatable. It’s a great tool for telling a particular story, but it’s not one that I enjoy.
(Just a few nights ago I read I Have No Mouth But I Must Scream, by Harlan Ellison. I went in expecting bleak – which it is – but I was amazed at the triumphant arc in the middle. Really, really great stuff. An example of how to make bleak work for me.)
Best scene: The edging. Dear god, the edging.

Impulse Control, by Pizzahead
Tags: mc, mf, cheating, in – mom/son, bro/sis
Pizzahead burst onto the scene with the ridiculously-named, impeccably-written Trophy Ninja Whore. Spoiler alert: we’ll be hearing about that story again later.
When he followed it up with Impulse Control, I thought I’d died and gone to heaven. It contains:
- Exploration of a limited-but-interesting power
- Brother/sister incest
- Mother/son incest
- Cheating (and then more cheating)
- Big breasts
- An overarching plotline
- Actions that actually have consequences
- No cartoon villains
- Superb writing
I devoured each chapter as it came out. Even as I write this, I’m starting to wonder if it should be moved into my top 100. It’s so, so good…
…until it isn’t.
I mentioned my preference for a limited scope. This isn’t a hard and fast rule – up until the disastrous final season, Game of Thrones was easily one of my top ten shows, and The Wire still is. If you can effectively juggle a big cast of interesting, unique, realistic characters, I’m in!
But most people, including me, cannot.
The issue is mostly just keeping track of who’s who. In film, it’s much easier. You give one guy a purple hat, and bam. That’s the purple hat guy. One of my favorite sitcoms, ‘Allo ‘Allo, has something like nineteen recurring characters, but they do such a good job of making them distinct, I never have trouble remembering which is which.
Between chapters fourteen and fifteen of Impulse Control, there’s a three-month gap. And when the chapter starts, we’re immediately thrown into a scene with a whole new group of characters.
Do you remember the first time you watched The Wire? At the start of season 2, we’re introduced to an entire new cast, all at once. It’s a confusing mess. The second season is one of the strongest, but not the first time you watch it. The first time, the only one you can keep track of is Ziggy, mostly because of how much you hate him.
I read chapter fifteen, with no idea what was going on. Then I read it again. And then I gave up on the story, because as it continued, it apparently required me to keep track of the nine new characters – more than we’d been introduced to in the entire first hundred thousand words of the story.
Worst paragraph: “The vacation crew, nine in all, was: Me; Rock and Sally; Billy Chatham, an artist who’d collaborated with Rock on a couple of graphic books; Christina Stone, Billy’s girlfriend and a really excellent guitarist; Chad Hanson, a news-junkie I’d been hanging out with on the few days I attended classes, to help orient myself into the who’s-who of the political players I was being dream-directed to subvert or influence; “Peach” Harrison, a lovely science nerd with the creamiest complexion you could ever wish to see; Rhonda Barnes, a friend (and perhaps lover?) of Peach’s who was a freshman at Michigan State; and Stacy Putnam, a champion swimmer in the state regionals, who had instantly become the hottest girl in our high school once Nell and Lila graduated.”
Best scene: When his step-mother sneaks away from her husband to spend a weekend fucking the main character in his new cabin.
If you liked this, check out: Pizzahead’s other tale, Ninja Trophy Wife, which completely sticks the landing.
The E&I Saga, by Stormbringer
Tags: mc, mf, probably some ff, interracial, cheating, cuckoldry, and many many many big dicks
That’s right: it’s more Stormbringer!
This one is more than just a tale. This one is a long series of interrelated tales: the Ebony & Ivory saga.
The premise is simple: a Captain America-style formula is invented. When you’re injected with it, you get huge muscles, you become almost invincible (you can pretty safely take a bullet, from what I recall) and you get a huge, addictive cock.
It’s a real formula for success.
Because it’s a Stormbringer tale, the main characters decide to only ever give the formula to black men. What results is a long series of adventures, in which many black men take many white women.
There’s no particular story that stands out as worthy for the top hundred, but it warrants inclusion just because of how much fun Stormbringer has exploring the concept from different angles.
In one tale, for example, a man tries to stay faithful to his wife (even after the formula). He ends up fucking her senseless for a week straight until she’s basically begging him to share his cock with other women.
Some of them are a little formulaic, some get too dark, and I always felt the counter-formula (which gives the white men erectile disfunction) was a little “unfair”, but there’s enough good stuff in here that I wanted to mention it.
Best scene: From one of the few stories in the saga where a white character gets the formula: someone asks if he’s worried that Solomon King will go after his family, impregnate his mother and sister. He thinks about it, and concludes that if they do, he’ll just go fuck them himself. (I’m not linking to it because I can’t find it…and because that’s basically everything hot about the scene.)
Another great scene: One of the injected men challenges a woman to look at his cock and tell her she doesn’t want him. She (barely) manages, and he realizes that his shower must’ve washed away the addictive pheromones, so he has to find another way to get her under his control.
If you liked this, check out: If you like this, you’re in luck: there’s an almost infinite supply of stories within the series.
